I’ve hunted boar; even been dumb enough to hunt them with flintlocks. But driven and bottled? Give me a full mag and a pocket full of extra rounds. Or one Hell of a steady strong raised platform. Like a helicopter. And I will confirm the dog thing. Last time in TN we lost 2 dogs dead and 4 injured. ---

It’s allover but the crying Nobody died or got hurt. Except my feelings (trust me you don’t wanna know) I killed 5 that got around the house to the front. Hand guns were drawn. About 80 kills. I need a nap. ---

The G&F carted off all the pigs. Tests and incineration. They are not edible. The pigs I got were a sow and piglets. One large-ish male. No, Big Wrek doesn’t brag on my prowess. ---

The Mister should brag! “I had to put my foot down and insist the Missus stay home! We call her ‘Dead Eye’ behind her back! Last shoot she entered, she got more verified kills than everybody else put together. The biggest problem is that she can’t handle all the drinks people bought her. I had to dig out that goofy key thing to get the door opened. One kid was having a tantrum the whole time because I didn’t have a coke in the house. If they had of called ahead I might’ve been better prepared. They just showed up. When I realized I would need to shoot in the front, I ran down with my gun (that, I had prepared for)I hollered at DIL to get those kids in the house. They were all lounging around on the deck. Hogs running everywhere. I don’t know if hogs can cimb steps up to the deck. Plus those kids just didn’t need to be outside with all those bullets flying. I had to tell her twice. Unbelievable. Anyway, I shot 5 of 7 that ran around the front. Son-of-a-wrek was right behind me and shot the other 2 with his handgun. In true redneck fashion this giant CF was deemed a success.:smack: So glad it’s over. ---

How will your family butcher that many hogs? Butchering even one is a big job. I helped my uncle thirty years ago. I never butchered one by myself. Never mind. I just saw your earlier post about G&F taking the bodies. ---

I didn’t realize feral hogs were this big of a problem in Arkansas. Found this article from Jan 2019.
