I live in a strange area (Arkansas is really all weird) . Big Lake one one side of the county. Major river system on the other. And the bayou is spread out through out the county. We’ve had a very wet spring and summer. That is my uneducated guess as to why snakes are swarming. So far today, no snakes. The big ol’ Snake wrangler is poking around as we speak. ---

Early Wednesday evening Mr.Wrekker announced the crisis is over. I asked him over dinner did he kill any snakes today, he shook his head, no. I asked 5 questions in quick succession. He never quit eating. He got up and put his plate in the sink. He started out thru the garage. I asked him, where he was going. He answered, one word: “Lake”, I muttered one word under my breath… It wasn’t: ‘Snakes!’ 🙂 ---
