I have followed her adventures for a couple years and she has always been funny in a bizarre way, but as she adds to her cast of misfits she just gets funnier. Clarence the possum was funny on his own, but now that he’s acquired a pet cat, Haricot (where do these names come from? What does a cat have to do with French green beans?), he’s the funniest possum since Pogo. Then there’s her human family, who don’t know they are players in a down-home soap opera. Currently her stinky grandkids are the featured players. I don’t know about the rest of you, but I have been needing more funny in my life, and I appreciate how she has been providing it. ---

I see, I see. There’s no explanation for my life. Well there’s that black hole/Indian holy burial ground I live on. Mikey, you are very kind to say nice things about me. I’m kinda worried this is payback for my thread on your latest medical problems and the other shoe will drop soon. Right on my sore toe🤗. MS. Haricot is solid black. @panache45 had a black cat named ‘Paris’. My sister once had a black cat named ‘Bean’. So…my pea brain came up with ‘Haricot’ after ruminating on it for…oh,I don’t know, 2 minutes or something. She answers to ‘Hari’ (which is strange cause I have brother named ‘Harry’) Or, “hey cat here’s food” ---

We have a black cat - Captain. Captain likes to sit behind me during Zoom calls. Either that, or he INSISTS I cross my legs to create a nest for him to sleep in. ---

I’ve had two black cats in my life–Denver and Hope. Denver was named for the Colorado city, and Hope got her name from being one of a little of three kittens named Faith, Hope, and Charity. Denver passed away before Zoom was a thing, but Hope was very much alive, and muscled her way into a few online business conferences. My colleagues always enjoyed seeing her. ---

I never had a solid black cat so I am unfamiliar with their bizarre behaviour. Isis and Smokey Joe were mostly black, but only enough to be monumentally stupid. ---

Beck has good threads but I wish they would have succinct titles. It gets very hard to distinguish between this “Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad” thread and that “Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad” thread after a while, especially when glancing from the main menu. ---
