But keep off that ankle as much as you can, I “toughed it out” when I sprained mine instead of resting it, which meant that it took longer to heal. ---

Sounds like you are a good hunter. I’ve heard that wild bear (which also needs to be cooked well done – it’s now the leading cause of trichinosis in the US, last I looked up stats) can be good eating or terrible eating depending on what it ate recently. So, bears that mostly live off raiding garbage cans taste nasty, but the bear that’s been feasting in your apple orchard is likely to taste good. I bet wild/feral pigs are similar. ---

Hunters I know cook the hell out of deer and wild pig because of the possibility of parasites. At some family feast, I couldn’t tell the difference. They made sausage of venison for crying out loud. ---

This morning DIL went and got Bluebelle and the babies for me. I didn’t think I could take the long drive to Texarkana. While she was gone I decided I needed to go to the store kinda-sorta close. Guess what? I can drive with my left foot. I am ‘foot-be-dextrous’( you know ambidextrous of the feets) Who knew?
