I had to go out of town on business for a week, and told her, I thought jokingly, that if she found a house she should buy it. Mid-week she tells me on our nightly phone call “I bought a house.” “Have I seen it?” “Nope.” “OK” The realtor was freaking out - put a contingency in something like “based on the husband agreeing when he finally gets a chance to see the damn thing”. Been here 27 years now, so it all worked out. ---

Yeah, every time I encounter an article that touts some kind of implant as there way of the future, it inevitably references using the implant to connect with coworkers in some way.
