Diabetes is a nasty, evil disease. Beckers–1 Dropzone–1 million Diabetes–0 But the points don’t matter because the cats ate them. I did wonder if the notorious SuperTrooper was the one who got stuck making the Health and Welfare check! ~VOW ---

I’m awake and functioning. Ate. Sugar has settled way down. Ambien is serious crap. I’m glad I was close to the pillow when I swallowed exactly 1/2 of a tablet. Down with no memory of going down. Crazy. I feel.a tiny bit hungover or something. I’m okay people. My DIL come over cause I didn’t answer her texts. I was asleep. I’m OK. Now she says I gotta call her when I’m taking the pill. Jesus. I’ve created a nazi DIL. ---

The alert button won’t help you, as you’ve seen, if you’re unable to press it. Even if your d-i-l calls 5 times a day, if you go into a coma right after she calls, she won’t be calling back until it’s too late. My type 1 diabetic friend wears a meter that sends info directly to a device that looks like a cell phone, whose alarm will go off if her blood levels rise or sink too much. I’ve been with her when it’s happened and she had to get sugar instantly or pass out. Can you get this, and your d-i-l get a remote device for your blood levels? ---

Like I said we had grown complacent. I’ve been alone most of my adult life. Except for the kids. Mr.Wrekker has been travelling for work and now his retirement hobbies as long as we’ve been married. This is not a new thing. I want that thing, blood sugar monitoring device. I talked to doctor about it. He isn’t crazy about them. I have to go in Monday and get rechecked. My blood pressure tends low but it was really low. I have an infection somewhere. No symptoms yet. Everybody is calling me too much. It’s driving me crazy. The lil’wrekker is supposed to go to the gulf for spring break next week, she said she would cancel. I won’t have it. She needs to go on her trip. I’m really ok. ETA sorry, this post is scatterbrained. ---
