They (the doctors) found out his hand was broken, and that was the cause of much of his discomfort. Unfortunaty, it took them several days to bother to X-Ray it to discover that. He’s in a cast now and his pain levels are reported to be much lower. There was talk about some kind of paralysis, but Beck thinks that was because they never bothered to check his hand. Again, an **update**. Approved by the source. ---

Thanks for the updates, Gatopescado. Fwiw, I didn’t know she especially liked Taco Bell, and when that post showed up as flagged in the mod queue, I thought it was a tasteless joke about her being sick due to eating at Taco Bell. My guess is that’s why it got flagged, too, although I don’t know. Now that you’ve explained it, I’m going to unhide it if I can. ---

Just a data point from one of the teeming millions who doesn’t follow Beck’s adventures extremely closely, but admires her and of course wishes her and her loved ones a speedy return to health and normality: @Gatopescado’s well-meaning but terse post that got apparently got flagged read to me as a slightly nasty joke. I didn’t flag it because I’m aware that I’m not familiar enough with Beck’s life to know if it made sense, in an affectionate, positive way, to those who know her tastes better. But I did misread it and wonder why Gatopescado seemed to have posted something so sour. Anyway, it was all apparently a misunderstanding, so I hope Gatopescado can forgive the flaggers and realize that their motive was no doubt affection for Beck. ---

Ditto to **Carol**. I didn’t flag it. But viewed in isolation by somebody who knows nothing of **Gato** ’s IRL connection to **Beck** it looks like an off topic tasteless joke while everyone else is offering condolences, hugs, prayers, etc., about what’s decidedly not a joking matter. I’m happy it’s all straightened out now. And doubly happy that my initial impression was wrong. ---
