Pro tip (because I hate hairdryers). Keep wrapping your hair in dry towels, brushing in between. By turning each towel once it takes three to dry mine when it’s long 🙂 ---

Three handfulls of Count Chocula later, and all was right with the world. Blood sugars have been running lower than normal today. Not surprised that things are a tad wonky, I was driving home from dialysis Friday and an Id10t blew a red light in front of me. To paraphrase Maxwell Smart: I hit him by \>\< that much–another foot and I would have just called him a Rhode Island driver. The front of the van now has a v shaped indent, and it was dripping green stuff. Yes, he was cited. I doubt they will total the van, but who knows, it’s a 2013. ---

A few years ago, I had a similar sighting in the middle of the night. I happened to look out my bedroom window just in time to see the bright lights of a UFO in my field. Middle of a snow storm, I was torn between being freaked out and grabbing the shotgun, or fascinated. I stared at the thing for the longest time without going out closer to check it out. 4’ of snow is a strong inducement to stay inside. Eventually, since the thing apparently wasn’t in any hurry to take off, I mounted my four wheeler to investigate further. Was some idiot out there with a snow shovel, trying to dig his way back to the road. He’d missed the corner, taking out 200’ of my fence and ended way the hell out in the middle of the field. It was almost daylight before we got him out of there. First tried chaining him up, then tried plowing a trail to him with the wheeler. Finally had to take the tractor out there to yard him back to the road. It was probably noon by the time he got all the barbed wire cut away from his truck axles. Stranded UFO’s can be a lot of work. ---

UPDATE: The drone was found. It was in the top of a big ol’ Sweetgum ball tree. Tree climber dude shimmied up there, cut one huge limb and rescued the drone. My other thread tells the tale of the Siameezers finding sweetgum balls allover the house. I’m not sure but I think they are psychic! :eek: ETA, Son-of-a-wrek told the timber dudes the drone took pix of me on the deck, he reports they laughed about that. ---
