I told him I would take him to one about 20 miles away if he had his heart set on Walmart. He declined and I brought him another place. To him, back where he lives, it’s all Walmart all the time. Here, it’s just another big-box store. Similar for me - the closest Walmart is about a 45 minute drive from my house. I’ve stopped into Walmarts before while traveling but Walmart isn’t really a viable option for me for regular shopping. ---

I know people that think nothing of navigating a congested mess, going into a Walmart store half the size of a county, just to get toothpaste. I think it’s nuts, but that’s just me.
