It’s the one thing (okay there are more than one) I will make for him **Nettie**. I don’t know why but as much as I hate making them and hate the way they smell, I feel like its a love thing. I may try some cinnamon next time **Big Kitty** I think I saw a recipe once where you dip apple rings into pancake batter and fry them that way. That might be good. I have an apple fritter recipe that calls for ale and I wonder if I could use champagne instead? I still have the bottle that was a gift from the settlement company. Did I mention I have a big bag of apples I need to use? We’re missing a bag of dog food from the grocery trip, but he’s not sure if he got it or not. He may have left it in the back of the truck. We’ll wait until it’s light outside and go check the truck, and if we didn’t get it I’ll need to call the store. I guess I should answer my ‘friend’. ---
