Our driveway is clear!! One guy on an ATV with a blade, another with a small John Deere front end loader have been here about 45 minutes. They cleared the path to our mailbox and scooped all the snow off the drive and dumped it on the lawn area. I don’t expect the pile to melt for months!!! But I don’t care - we can now get out. Yay!! ---

I hope your car gets you to and from the grocery store OK. Sucks to be hungry, I should know as I’m back on my diet. Well, too late now but there is one within a few blocks of mine and also of Mom’s! ---

Northern Illinois where I grew up was apparently some sort of Lutheran DMZ, so we had representation from Wisconsin and Missouri. ---

From what I once heard they are for people who are displeased by how liberal the _Missouri_ Synod is!😃 If you are into alternate history at all Eric Flint’s Ring of Fire series contains a story titled “The Rudolstadt Colloquoy” about a Lutheran religious conference. Not too much fiction turns on the fine points of Lutheran theology!😛 There’s a riot in there in the town square, that’s fun too! ---

Good luck wit your move, **big kitty**. **{{{wet one}}}** **flytrap** , middle Tennessee reporting: it was above freezing this afternoon and some of our snow melted. Unfortunately, it will dip to ~15○ tonight refreezing all of the melted crap. On the plus side, I took the opportunity to get the car brushed off and went to the grocery store while the laundry was in the washer. Not all of Kroger’s shelves were bare. 😛 Now, all that’s left are the supper dishes and folding drawers and socks. ---

We went to Cracker Barrel for supper, altho \*someone \*had breakfast instead. The main roads were all dry. There was some slop getting out of our neighborhood, and the access road to Cracker Barrel was a mess, but for the most part, it wasn’t a bad drive. I did find out that the base has a 4-hour delayed opening, but they count that from 7AM, so work starts at 11. I usually start at 6. I’m not sure how that works out for my pay, but I guess I’ll find out. I’ll probably lose some money. Oh well… I’d say I can sleep in, but I can’t since \*\*FCD \*\*intends to go in his regular time. Guess I get some computer time. Can you imagine?? 😃 I might be bored enough to clean the bathrooms. CAN YOU IMAGINE?!?!? 😃 ---

My dishes are also done, only one load of laundry to do, & I don’t think imma gonna do that tonight as it’s just the athletic clothes & they don’t go in the dryer. Didn’t vacuum thou. Apparently some woman on the next street has a herniated disc & needs her driveway shoveled. Ummm, why couldn’t I have found out about this when it was still sunny & hadn’t yet refrozen???
