Best Sellers: 1 Miller Genuine Draft (I wouldn’t make an enemy drink Coors Light) 2 Henry Weinhard’s 4 Rolling Rock 5 Miller Light (Michelob Amber Boch is surpisingly good, but this is Michelob original, which is ass, while Miller Light is really surprisingly good…for a light beer.) Bargain Basement: 1 Schmidt 9 Killian’s Irish Red 10 Olympia 12 Stroh’s Imports: 1. Modelo 6 Boddington’s 8 Guinness 12 Lowenbrau Craft/Microbrew: 10 Anchor Steam Ale 2 Shiner Bock 3 Alaskan Pale Ale 4 Blue Moon Belgium White There were some hard choices in this one. I had to pick Boddington’s over pick for overall winner. And Blue Moon vs. Fat Tire was hard as was Alaskan vs. Pyramid. ---

Where does Yuengling come from, anyway? I’m surprised there would be a best seller I’ve never heard of. Best Sellers: 1 Miller Genuine Draft 4 Rolling Rock 5 Michelob Bargain Basement: 9 Killian’s Irish Red (Killian’s is basement?! At $7.09 a sixpack?!) Imports: Grolsch (As much as I like Modelo’s Negro, Grolsh has an awesome Amber) 6 Boddington’s (Nitrogen wins this one hands down) 3 Dos Equis (Gotta represent south of the border. Guinness is overrated.) 10 Molson Canadien vs. 12 Lowenbrau Craft/Microbrew: 10 Anchor Steam Ale (As much as I love a good Hefe, Anchor Steam is GOOD! 2 Shiner Bock (it would have gone to Deschutes had it been their Black Butte Porter) New Belgium Fat Tire (one of my first favorites, although I’ve grown apart from the toasted malt). ---

I’ve not had Weinhardts that often but from what I recall of it I rate Yuengling higher. It’s a Pennsylvannia beer, actually in several different styles, but there is a brewery here in Tampa and it’s taken on a sort of local status. ---
