Oh great and powerful MODS, I have ventured to the great chamber that is the SDMB, and asked some questions, got some answers…but I want to see behind the curtain! How does this thing work? Is there a dungeon full of slaves forced to monitor every post here? Does Cecil wander through your department(?), giving helpful answers and passing out ca$h rewards for the diligent? How does this side of the operation compare with the regular readers who post letters? So many questions, so much ignorance… ---

You might be right Ice Wolf, but there are more MODS over here, and I kinda wanted to get more readers involved too…not up to me though anyway! ---

I think it’s always been that way, **kniz**. There’s some folks who hardly ever star threads, and there’s some folks who start a lot of them. I’d venture a guess that of the people who have any posts, for over half of them, the first post is a new thread. ---

But the **important** question brought up by _that_ is…does the SD shower curtain blow in? And in what circumstances? And WHY? \
