I was at the Skydome for Joe Carter’s walk off home run to win the 1993 World Series. Due to a well connected friend, I’ve actually been to every World Series game in Canada.
I was in Tiger Stadium for Detroit’s clinching 1-0 over Kansas City in game 3 of the 1984 ALCS. My most vivid memory are the shows of force by the police in the breaks between the later innings- they ringed the entire field nearly shoulder to shoulder. No rushing the field that night.
