We were in a cabin by the beach, and one morning we saw those white and grey flying garbage hounds pecking around, so we put a piece of bready kosher donut out on the picnic table. One came over to snarf it up and then stood there looking around to see if more would be coming, looking like a real dork with a big old wad of cream cheese stuck on the side of its beak. I think the bird may have been one of those bay gulls. ---
