My top 10:

1. Secular Humanism (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (97%)
3. Liberal Quakers (81%)
4. Nontheist (73%)
5. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (72%)
6. Theravada Buddhism (69%)
7. Neo-Pagan (65%)
8. New Age (51%)
9. Reform Judaism (46%)
10.Taoism (46%)

No huge surprises there, except maybe New Age - I don’t believe in chakras, crystals, candles, reincarnation or any other “New-Agey” stuff like that.

Not sure what this is:
15. New Thought (34%)

Mildly concerned about:
16. Scientology (33%)
Re that lack of “Atheism” as a category, and the apparent reluctance to put “Nontheist” at the top of the list (given that it comes from a religious website) - I was wondering what the difference would be between “Secular Humanism” and “Atheist” or “Nontheist”.

I remember my dear friend Eric pointing me at a quiz on this site last May, but I think it was [a quiz designed to find out what kind of Christian you were](http://beliefnet.com/section/quiz/index.asp?sectionID=10002&surveyID=83). (“You’d better answer #1 for most of these,” he said… and after I took the test, “Wow, you scored even higher than I did!”)

So I decided to take this test, and here are my results:

1. Orthodox Judaism (100%)
2. Sikhism (97%)
3. Orthodox Quaker (96%)
4. Seventh Day Adventist (96%)
5. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (90%)
6. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons) (89%)
7. Eastern Orthodox (89%)
8. Roman Catholic (89%)
9. Islam (87%)
10. Reform Judaism (79%)
11. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (77%)
12. Jehovah’s Witness (76%)
13. Bahá’í Faith (71%)
14. Liberal Quakers (68%)
15. Hinduism (61%)
16. Unitarian Universalism (56%)
17. Jainism (45%)
18. Neo-Pagan (38%)
19. Mahayana Buddhism (34%)
20. Theravada Buddhism (32%)
21. Secular Humanism (30%)
22. New Age (29%)
23. Scientology (26%)
24. Christian Science (Church of Christ, Scientist) (26%)
25. Taoism (25%)
26. New Thought (22%)
27. Nontheist (22%)

Me, an Orthodox Jew? I think not. The Seventh-Day Adventist and the LDS ones really concern me, as they’re so high up on the list! I’d say I was more a mainline Christian Protestant than anything else (I was raised in that religious sphere, more or less), yet it only has 77%.

Other than the 85% alignment with Liberal Christian Protestants and Quakers, I pretty much fall where I thought I would.

Not bad for a screaming atheist…

1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Secular Humanism (98%)
3. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (85%)
4. Liberal Quakers (84%)
5. Nontheist (81%)
6. Theravada Buddhism (78%)

1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Neo-Pagan (93%)
3. New Age (80%)
4. Liberal Quakers (79%)
5. Mahayana Buddhism (79%)

Pretty much what I get every time. Let’s look farther down the list…

1. New Thought (79% )

Lookit, Maw! I had a new thought! 😃

1. Scientology (70%)

Uh-oh…

1. Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants (61%)

Nice to see I’m still a recovering Lutheran.

1. Jehovah’s Witness (17%)

Whew!

I’ve taken this test twice over the last three months or so. The first time I took it, my top three were:

1. Neo-Pagan (100%)
2. Unitarian Universalism (95%)
3. Liberal Quakers (93%)

My current results are:

1. Unitarian Universalism (100%)
2. Neo-Pagan (92%)
3. Liberal Quakers (90%)

The results make sense to me. I grew up Roman Catholic, but my views have always been more Unitarian (although, until recently, I didn’t know there was a term to describe my beliefs).

I had my mom take the test a few months ago, and Unitarian Universalism was one of her top results, too. This test has started some very interesting discussions on religion in our house. 🙂
