Free speech has been under attack for years. Obama wants to make free speech a hate crime…you cannot tell the truth about anything now. For example, Dr. Carson speaking his mind about islam and sharia was immediately attacked as “hate speech”. Academia censures anyone who doesn’t toe the line. ---

Attacking speech with other speech is **exactly what you’re supposed to do**. It’s a feature, not a bug, when someone calls out someone else’s speech for being shitty. That’s how ideas get fair play in the public sector. Trying to reduce criticism of leaders is the behavior of despots, not the behavior of free speech advocates. Now, if I were looking for a Hitler analogue in the United States, I’d look for someone who warns us about a religious minority in our country who presents an insidious threat to our way of life and who suggests that members of that religious minority are unfit to hold positions of public power. But I’m having trouble thinking of anyone matching that description–a little help, Dr. Carson? ---

We should be defending free speech. We’ll just establish one set of things that are true. And we’ll make it illegal for anybody to question the things we say are true or criticize our truth. Carson being criticized is not the same thing as taking away his freedom of speech. No one is legally protected from criticism of they say something that others consider incorrect. Also it is leftists who are behind trying to police language and make sure everyone says pc things. Some leftists I should day as most leftists, myself included, would fight against making it illegal to engage in unpopular speech. But my point is that Carson cannot even distinguish the left from the right. It is some leftists who are pushing for pc language, not proto fascists. That’d be like claiming Trump’s desire to build a wall with Mexico was proof of communism. Carson proves that you can be really smart in some areas and really dumb in others. ---

I have no doubt that there are people who want to see a police state in America. Oh, it may _seem_ to come from the left. It may _seem_ to come from the right. But that’s mere salesmanship, a question of what gets the most people behind it. Where it would come from is the top. After all, they’re the only ones with the juice to make it happen. Why? It all comes back to “income inequality”, or as I call it “wealth disparity”. It always gets addressed, one way or another. Either by confiscatory taxation or by revolution. The only method of preventing this is via the imposition of a police state so efficient that overthrow is impossible. ---

The Nazis were pretty big on PC. “The Jews are parasites!” a brown shirt would say, but Hitler would swiftly correct him. “The Jewish _people_, my friend. Don’t dehumanize them.” I’ve read enough far right sites to know libs will use minorities as their enforcers. And union members. Black panthers. Mexican cartels. That sorta thing. Probably because the idea of dorky white libs taking over the country is too far fetched even for them. Plus, if you think about it, liberals do follow a lot of Nazi ideology. They’re big on traditional family values. Scapegoating minorities. Blaming the loss of wars on traitors. The Green Lantern theory of politics - will conquers all. Plus the endless corporatism. OK, so that last bit about right. ---

OK, so that last bit about right. You know what, every month every liberal on earth has to attend a mandatory indoctrination meeting. I think this is common knowledge, but as I’m sure you know we are all required to sign a declaration of secrecy of what goes on in these meetings. Why are you blabbing about the plans on the internet? It is bad enough that the right wing blogosphere has uncovered our plans to hand the US over to the muslims, mexicans and chinese by breaking up the family unit and promoting labor and environmental laws until the US goes bankrupt.
