Sweet, I donated. And even though you don’t get the money back if they lose the bid, it’s a good cause. I’ve referred to talk.origins on many occasions.
Well, the bad news is, the film sold for $201,000, way more than the ~$50K that PT was able to scrape together.
The good news is, they’re verified that they can easily refund Paypal donations, so they’re returning all donations made since June 23rd. I’ll add my thanks to theirs for everyone who helped out in this effort!
