And it’s official, 0-16. If my (beer fogged) memory isn’t failing me the Brown’s stadium lease runs till 2029. In light of the previous team having been uprooted and moved to Baltimore the terms of the lease are unusually difficult for the team to break but the contract is up in 12 years. At this specific moment I _almost_ wish the team would leave again as I’d have four hours a week during the season to do anything other than watch a continuous slow speed train wreck. I am however, a Browns fan, therefore I foresee (but not necessarily look forward to) no fewer than 12 more years of Cleveland Browns football. I only wish I had some reason to justify anything even remotely like hope. ---

That dropped pass late in the game made me think, “This is why you can’t have nice things.” \ Has anyone started a rumor the pass was intentionally dropped? Can’t imagine why, but then, can’t imagine a professional player not catching that pass… ---

You’ve got the #1 overall pick…how can you go wrong with that? 😃 ETA: If the Browns had had Josh Gordon this entire season, or even just a few more games, I suspect they would have eked one out somewhere along the way. ---

I assume the 2018 NFL Draft thread will start up once we know the order of the non-playoff teams, which the NFL usually releases within a day of the final regular season game? ---

All that coaching pedigree and he’s won (tops) one more game than an unqualified nobody like me would have. I don’t know exactly what it takes to be a great football coach, but I don’t think “winning more games than any random clown off the street” is setting the bar too high.
