> So all comments that X must be the same as Y because it comes from the same plant is absolutely completely wrong. It’s possible that a store brand (especially Costco) is another middling-good brand in a different label… but pet food plants turn out batches to order that can be as different as, well, corn and cow.

While what you say is true unless Costco decided to confirm or we start sampling dog food we may never know for sure. What is known is recalls on Taste of the Wild and Kirkland Brand occur at the same time. Kirkland has the same nutritional listings as Taste of the Wild.

My dog doesn’t seem to know the difference, but then again he’s not very picky.

LOL. I just now traded a PB&J sandwich for pretend dog food with Ella.
I have eaten various dry (and wet) dog foods. Some of that stuff is actually pretty good according to my human taste-buds. Me and Ella(TheCutestDogInTheWholeWideWorld) just might survive this winter/\ 😃

I’ve started feeding Cooper **Canidae Pure Sea** grain free dry food, he seems to like it, I like the fact that it has a simple ingredient list of human-grade ingredients, and is relatively affordable, cheaper than Blue Buffalo, just a couple bucks more than his previous food, Rachel Ray Nu-Trish

Canidae Pure Sea ingredients;
Salmon, salmon meal, menhaden fish meal, sweet potatoes, peas, canola oil, suncured alfalfa, potatoes, natural flavor, minerals (iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper proteinate, ferrous sulfate, zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, potassium iodide, manganese proteinate, manganous oxide, manganese sulfate, sodium selenite), vitamins (vitamin E supplement, thiamine mononitrate, ascorbic acid, vitamin A supplement, biotin, niacin, calcium pantothenate, pyridoxine hydrochloride, vitamin B12 supplement, riboflavin, vitamin D3 supplement, folic acid), choline chloride, dried enterococcus faecium fermentation product, dried lactobacillus acidophilus fermentation product, dried lactobacillus casei fermentation product, dried lactobacillus plantarum fermentation product, dried trichoderma longibrachiatum fermentation extract, mixed tocopherols (a natural source of vitamin E)

Probably some sort of time zone shenanigans, like their server was still on the 24th and autostamped the date on the article but whoever sent/received the response was somewhere where it was already the 25th.
