Another team was sent from Tripoli to Benghazi. The FAST platoon was sent to Tripoli because by then the evacuation had been completed for several hours. So who is it you’re saying could have been sent into combat, but were not? ---

It’s good that they were not ordered into the fray, most likely. Teams like that always want to go in, and it’s good that their commanders sometimes hold them back when the conditions are not favorable, or too little is known to make a good judgment. ---

If the security contractors were not able to secure the compound with the six of them and about 50 militiamen with heavy weapons, what do you think four more Green Berets would have been able to do had they gone to Benghazi? ---

No one was sent into Tripoli until after the evacuation was completed. Do you mean the four-man Special Forces team that was already in Tripoli, but stayed there to protect the embassy while a six-man team flew to Benghazi? ---

Because you’re so-called “experts” are from the category of military officer personnel who spend the greater part of their careers sitting around jacking off and giving each other medals for not spilling their coffee. Your acceptance of the so-called evidence and cites from a politically-charged group of ass-kissers as opposed to reality is telling. You sound like the type of person with a lot of time on his hands to sit around convincing yourself to believe a lot of “stuff” you read and hear. If you had the slightest clue about the military and how it works, you’d recognize the testimony of high ranking officers in cases like these is tailored strictly for the benefit of covering the boss’s butt himself or whoever he wants protected. ---
