Or at least a [dog that kind of looks like him.](http://www.benjimovies.com/) I haven’t seen the original Benji movies since they first ran in the theaters, some years ago, and barely have any memories of the films. Can’t imagine that this film will have the same “magic.” ---

Gosh. I was five or six when one of those movies was in the theatres. My mom took me to see it and I was stone bored, even at that age. ---

I liked you guys better when you went after **Baby Geniuses 2.** There are soOooooo many more deserving targets worthy of such practiced cynicism and disdain. Why waste the ammunition on such innocuous and light entertainment fare like a Benji movie? ---

Don’t knock Benji. This one got rescued from a kennel, which makes Joe a good guy in my book. This movie also got a good review in the Times. There are a lot of worse movies out there these days. ---
