Is there any evidence that Bernie was personally involved in whatever happened at Burlington College? I do not believe in punishing someone for the actions of their spouse. ---

Allegations, there is no evidence; this is most likely slander. Just wait till the conclusion when nothing happens, typical. I’m sure every republican board will have blaring headlines stating " BERNIE ON THE FENCE, FRAUD, BIGLY, MAGA, PEDE, " very informative stuff. ---

If it can be verified that he is under investigation, we can safely assume there is some evidence that he was involved. Until then, it’s just speculation. ---

I would think they would hire separate lawyers because they have very different issues to worry about in addition that the optics might be even worse with a shared lawyer. It would officially wrap her shenanigans on the loan application with the accusations that he attempted to influence the bank’s decision. ---

If he needs a lawyer altogether, he needs a separate lawyer. My point in writing “separate” was that he hired his own lawyer, which indicates that he at least suspects that he might himself be under investigation, and it’s not just his wife’s lawyer. ---
