# Bernie Sanders is like Jesus: He's pretty rad, his fan club sucks

But the Sanders campaign has been floating the idea of getting superdelegates to swing it to them even if Hillary has the majority of pledged delegates and votes. This would never happen, but if it did it would blow up the party (not just because of going against the majority, but specifically overruling the choice of Democratic women and racial minorities in favor of the white guy preferred by white guys).

Yes, it is. But I don’t think its rigged fraudulently.

And then the women and minorities in the party would know just how much white men really think they are worth. And for a party dependent on women and minorities - it may not be political suicide, but it might be up there with cutting as self destructive hobby.

God, the patronizing “superiority” of this line of thinking. “Yes, you’ve had your say, now just stand back and let the real men make the decision.” In what universe do Progressives want to be associated with this?
