Very weak year. I went with “The Battle of New Orleans.”

Bobby Darin’s Sinatra wannabe version of “Mack the Knife” is just plain bad, especially if you’ve heard [Lotte Lenya’s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPG9GcykPIY), which is creepy and haunting.

It wasn’t until I heard her version and read the German lyrics that I realized the song is about a contract killer. :eek:
