These threads are making me realize how different the Australian music scene was from the US one and why I’m failing to recognize so many songs on these lists. Apart from Wannabe, MMMBop & Candle in the Wind, the rest of the list has no overlap.
I remember the Summer of 97 in Australia where it was wall to wall Barbie Girl/Tub Thumping/Doctor Jones.
