Boy it’s almost time to give a top movies of the decade, ain’t it…mine would include (sort of in reverse chrono order):

Hunger (2008)
The Dark Knight (2008)
Man on Wire (2008)
Let the Right one in (2008)

As for whether or not it corresponds to the two lists - eh, not really. I’ve seen most of the movies on those lists and I’m fine with most of them getting some sort of recognition but placing them as the top of the decade is a bit silly.

Movies for this year I have high hopes for are:

Up in the air
The Lovely Bones

Well the decade’s not quite over yet. I might have to include the Coen brothers’ latest, A Serious Man on my list. Just saw it today.
