# Best Action Movie 1991-2010: Final Round!

Me too. I also voted for _The Matrix_. I had to think about it, since I didn’t like the two _Matrix_ sequels. But considered on it’s own, pretending the sequels don’t exist, it’s my favorite out of the four movies in the poll.

_T2_ is a great movie, and I really enjoyed _True Lies_. I also liked the _Bourne Identity_, but for me this is the opposite to how I feel about _The Matrix_ - I actually like the _Bourne Supremacy/Ultimatum_ a bit more than I liked _Identity_.

The only two that deserve any consideration are _T2_ and _the Matrix_. The ideas driving Terminator are much tighter than the Matrix, and Terminator is generally a much more tense movie. So Terminator 2 gets the nod from me.

As an aside, a somewhat gobsmacked that _True Lies_ is even under consideration. Don’t get me wrong - it’s a decent flick, but not one of the the best 4 of two decades. Really, _The Dark Knight_ should be in it’s place.
