Don’t know if it counts as a novelty song (kind of, I think), but does anyone remember: Coulda been the whiskey, Mighta been the gin, Coulda been the 3 or 4 six packs, I don’t know, But look at the mess I’m in,… I haven’t heard that in a long time. Does anyone know who did it? ---

Well despite my short 20 years, I recall hearing “Wasn’t that a Party” on a record my late Grandfather used to play. The one he listened to was done by a country artist.
