Best: Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova as the Guy and the Girl in **Once**. Also, in real life, they have amazing musical chemistry.

Worst:
Tom Cruise and anyone, especially Nicole Kidman in _Eyes Wide Shut_ and _Days of Thunder_
[/QUOTE]

I can top both of those Tom Cruise/Nicole Kidman choices: Cruise/Kidman in that stupid, stupid movie _Far and Away_. I couldn’t understand why those two people from completely disparate backgrounds would fall in love – no charm whatsoever on Tom Cruise’s part.

Worst: Michael Douglas and Gwyneth Paltrow in _A Perfect Murder_.

Very cold, bad acting. Might have something to do with the financially broke Michael Douglas character trying to get rid of his wealthy wife who is cheating on him with a sleaze bag lover.

The movie was based on _Dial M for Murder_, an 1954 Hitchcock film that I always watch when it’s rerun on TCM.
