Best--and worst--onscreen chemistry

No kidding. It was like somebody forced them to be together.

For me, this pair has the same problem as DiCaprio and Winslet in Titanic: it’s hard for me to suspend disbelief when the female “half” of a romantic couple is actually the female “2/3 by weight.” I’m not saying it can’t be overcome, and I know it’s a total prejudice on my part, but any such (film/TV) couple already has a strike against them in my book.

Well, the same goes for those couples with the big slobby guys and the hot skinny chicks, like King of Queens, According to Jim, and The Flintstones.

In recent memory, the romantic chemistry between Nicolas Cage and Jessica Biel in Next was quite horrible.

Yes, but that’s different: wishful thinking (on the part of me, the observer) bridges many gaps.

The family in “The Incredibles”.

I saw it four times in theaters, and I think it was because I was feeling like my own family unit at the time was a bit lacking at the time. It was cool to see a family, even if it was fictional and animated, looking out for each other and working together to resolve their issues.

My own family is a lot closer now, but The Incredibles still remaines a favorite movie.
