Spike & Angel had excellent–mostly humorous–chemistry in the last season of Angel. Quite The Odd Couple–one reason I’d have liked another season or two.
And I’m not talking slash–“except for that one time.”

Powell & Loy made 14 films together, and though the movies themselves weren’t always great, the two together were always wonderful.
That’s exactly it! Thanks for the tip! I don’t remember much about the plot of the film; I just enjoyed watching the two of them act together.
Trapper John Mcyntyre and Hawkeye Pierce (best).
Ooo! best: The two guys in Midnight Run, Jack & the Duke. They were freakin’ hilarious together, better than any married couple.
I thought Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze did well in Dirty Dancing, especially when you consider they did not get along
I know I’m going to screw up this quote
Lisa Simpson (in reference to Love Story): “Ali McGraw is wooden and unlikable, and no matter what he does, Ryan O’Neal is still Ryan O’Neal”
Love Story: “love means never having to say you’re sorry”
Lisa: “No it doesn’t!”
Hugh Grant and Andie McDowell in Four Weddings and a Funeral - zero chemistry.
As soon as I saw “The Breakup,” I knew Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn wouldn’t last.
Ashton Kutcher and any woman he’s been on screen with.
Julia Roberts and Brad Pitt in “The Mexican.”
Really? I thought Patrick Swayze had refused to do a sequel unless he could be reunited with the original cast, including Grey. Did they kiss and make up?
I think you mean “Zoe.”
Did Any Couple On That 70’s Show Have Any Sexual Chemistry Whatsoever?
Wost: House & Cuddy.
Best: House & Wilson.
Are Cuddy and House SUPPOSED to have chemistry? I’m pretty sure she utterly despsies him on a personal level.
A Vote for worst: David Thewlis and Leonardo DiCaprio as Verlaine and Rimbaud in Total Eclipse. While their relationship was violent and dysfunctional, there needed to be some element of attraction other than Verlaine’s lust for Rimbaud, and there wasn’t. (IIRC John Malkovich was the original actor signed to play Verlaine which perhaps would have worked better, but he dropped out due to salary issues.)
How did this thread get so many replies with no mention of Lex and Clark on Smallville?
Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly are awesome together in Rear Window.
Harrison Ford and Anne Heche in Six Days & Seven Nights were terrible together. I blame Anne Heche, 'cus I don’t like her in anything, and Harrison Ford could have chemistry with a coat rack, so there you go.
In Remember WENN, Nick Sherwood and Betty had incredible chemistry. The only show that I’ve watched that could let romantic tension simmer for so long and still make it watchable. Nick was a con man at heart, and he trully wanted to be whatever Betty wanted him to be… But he couldn’t not be a con man, and she, while attracted to him, certainly could NOT be in love with a con man.
(Damn A&E for leaving that show on a handful of cliffhangers!)
I’ve never seen it. Are you voting them for best or worst?
Almost certainly best. The corruption of Lex Luthor is the second most interesting thing about that show and is almsot enough to make me watch it.
