Makes one almost long for the days of homophobia, when punk bands would select a gay-sounding name in order to piss off both non-punk straights (who hated that the name would be associated with gays) and gays (who hated that they would select a name derogatory of gays.) Now it’s more likely to be seen as a real gay band “reclaiming” a term. NNTAWWT but it does cut down on the more interesting names. ---

I used to catch a band in South Jersey during my summers called **Love Seed Mama Jump**. They kicked ass. I’ve always thought \*\*Frankie Goes To Hollywood \*\*was a great band name. ---
