Are there any sites that have an in-depth book recomendation service? I am trying to research an unusual subject that delves into severl eclectic subjects itself and I thought that a recomendation engine might bring up some titles that I would have never thought of. ---

[/QUOTE] Bump. I have been playing with Amazon, but it seems to be too general. I would like something that allows me to select certain books from my list, or to focus in on certain topics. ---

My library subscribes to a few readers’ advisory databases, although they’re pretty much just fiction. “What Do I Read Next?” is just readers’ advisory, and “Novelist” has a lot of resources for that. Check to see if your local library has something similar.
