# Best chat program?

I haven’t been using instant messaging programs for the last couple of years, though I used to all the time. Back in the day I used one called Trillian which let you connect to AIM, ICQ, etc all in one app. I may start using Trillian again but I wanted to know what else is out there. What do you use?

I use [Digsby](http://www.digsby.com/). Lets me chat on AIM, MSN and through Facebook all at the same time.

The Trillian 5 beta is the best one out. It’s has the best looking UI and every feature you could want, except offline MSN messages.

I like using Pidgin to combine all my chat logins. It’s got a pretty simple chat window interface, which I like. The downside is it’s not very user-friendly, you have to be a bit of a software geek to get the most out of it.
