# Best cloud storage for professional use with clients?

I have to take the plunge and set up some cloud storage to move things like video files to and from clients. I’ve mucked a little with DropBox from both sides and it seemed to be hard to set up with individual “pockets.”
Which cloud-based storage option is:
[ul]
[li]free to cheap for reasonable storage space (50GB?)[/li][li]suited to professional use (as opposed to family/grandma/phone users)[/li][li]allows some form of individual access assignment for clients[/li][li]allows passwording of individual files or folders[/li][li]allows easy uploading by almost any web user[/li][li]generally allows secure transfers for multiple parties?[/li][/ul]

DropBox is the best option by far. I don’t know what you mean by “individual pockets”. You have your client sign up for a DropBox account, and you can then choose to share individual folders in your account with that client. Do you need finer-grained access control than this?

Note that the client does not need to pay anything for their account in this case. You are paying for the storage.

No, that will do it. I remember fussing with this (in a hurry, a while back) and not being able to do what I wanted, but it was an unfair trial.
Really… fifty cloud storage offerings and DB is best?

If security is any concern, I would recommend spideroak.

You might take a look at cubby – it is based on “individual pockets”.

Those tend to be mutually exclusive demands. [Quickbase](http://quickbase.intuit.com/) is designed for professional use and is pretty good, but not cheap.
