miller’s crossing. it just occurred to me that the hat motif was used in ‘o brother’… only it was hair/pomade.

**Barton Fink** caused a major shift in my opinion of John Goodman as an actor. I’ll always have fond memories of being shown the life of the mind.

Thanks, Lib. Although it was only after a post-Barton Google search that I found interpratations that made the movie coherent. That movie confused the crap outta me.

Most definetly, Miller’s Crossing.
Their best by far. By the way, rumor has it that it’s to be released on DVD in early 03’. I’ve been waiting for this since I got my DVD player 18 months ago. I agree thermalribbon…the film is well worth repeated viewings because you get so much more out of it every time.

Like **eunoia** , I appear to be one of the few who thought Blood Simple was terrific. My husband rented Miller’s Crossing once and I wasn’t in the mood to watch TV, so missed it. Loved all the rest of em, though.
