Some spammer started a thread in MPSIMS that purported to be something like this, but it was only to spam their own site. I think it’s a great thread idea, so I figured I’d start a real one here. I can never find a really good printable coupon site, so if you do know of one I’d love the suggestion. But the best coupon code site, by far, is [retailmenot.com](http://retailmenot.com). People report whether or not the code works and it posts them by percentage chance of it working. I have yet to have one fail. I use this site every time I order something online, and have saved a TON of money because of it. ---

I’ve looked and haven’t found a good one yet. I have been getting some good use out of [Restaurant.com](http://Restaurant.com) lately. If you get on their mailing list, you can fairly regularly get $25 gift certificates for $2 towards the end of the month. ---

As for printable coupons for things like groceries, frankly I think there is a real lack of good sites for this (most are spammy, bulky, and poorly designed). Since I’m a member anyway, I usually check [Mypoints.com](http://Mypoints.com) once a month or so, but that’s about it. ---

I don’t use this portion of this site, so can’t claim if anything here is good or not. But the rest of the site is active, if nothing else it is a good money site 🙂 ---

I use grocery coupons as much as I can without spending a huge amount of time on it. I’m a big fan of [http://www.retailmenot.com/](http://www.retailmenot.com/) Not only can you search on their site, but they have a [Firefox add-on](https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4980) that will alert you if they have a code for the site you’re on. ---

Proctor and Gamble has a thing on their website where you can load coupons onto various frequent-shopper cards. It’s the same deals as their monthly inserts in the Sunday paper, so it won’t be worth it if you already get that. ---

[Slickdeals.net](http://Slickdeals.net) is still a pretty good site with a very active forum. I would also recommend [Fatwallet.com](http://Fatwallet.com), they have coupons, cashback and forums. ---

I also recommend Slickdeals and Fatwallet. They both have a freebie forum, which can be fun. I’ve gotten coffee samples, pet food samples, and today a “better than ears” sample. (It’s a dog treat, I love the name.) They also have various deals forums. You can always find the latest Kohl’s coupon codes there. People will also discuss various ways to combine deals. For example, last Christmas there was a 30% off code and a free shipping code which could be used on the same order. As far as printed coupons go, I like Slickdeals coupon forum. A lot of companies will post a coupon on their own site, not a coupon site. So I check that forum a couple of times a week to see if anything interesting turns up. I especially recommend checking those sites out at Christmas. It’s a great way to keep up with in-store sales, special online sales, free shipping offers, etc. ---

You’re supposed to buy one meal, get one free, but when we’d hand them the card, they’d get flustered, go find their managers, come back and say, “I’m sorry but we can’t take this. The best we can do is give you half off ONE meal.” Well lady, that was your tip. Sorry. We don’t use those coupon books very often, although as I understand it, they did away with the card and if your restaurant is in the book, tough shit for you, half the bill is getting put right back on the credit card that purchased both meals. Never had a problem with [restaurant.com](http://restaurant.com) or [groupon.com](http://groupon.com).
