Good lord, you people are going to put me into a sugar-induced coma. I’m getting twitchy just _reading_ about the cereal you eat! The best darn cereal out there is [Kashi Good Friends](http://www.kashi.com/kastogoodfri.html) (with twigs!). It’s 90 calories per serving (sans milk), full of wholesome goodness, not too sweet but just sweet enough. Mmmmmmmmm. When I’m really living dangerously, I’ll eat a bowl of [Kashi Good Friends Cinna-Rasin Crunch](http://www.kashi.com/goodfriencin1.html) (still with twigs!) What’s that? No, I’m only 28, why do you ask? ---

Oh, but **dantheman** , that’s the _hilarity_ of the Kashi Good Friends cereal. That they do, in fact, refer to portions of their cereal as twigs! Twigs, I say! It’s worthy of my 1,000th post to note that they are not, in fact, twigs made out of wood. Oh, and here’s another shout out to **Grape Nuts**. I let 'em soak in milk until they get soft and puffy. Man, that’ll sit in your gut for hours like a lead balloon. ---

Weetabix, Duckster? I eat Kleenex for breakfast and dry my tears with Weetabix. Best cereal? **Raspberry Mueslix** , but I haven’t seen it for a few years. And for nostalgia’s sake, I have to mention **Quisp**. I haven’t tasted it for a long time, but I feel better just knowing it’s there. ---

Especially after that “tons and tons and tons…and tons of sugar in them.” I once was a **Cracklin’ Oat Bran** fan, but given the fat in them, you might as well just eat a danish - just as bad for ya, but tastes a lot better! 😃 My current favorite is the **Very Berry** cereal I get at Trader Joe’s. I’ll have to look to see if it’s a store brand or not; I can’t remember. When people get off on **Grape-Nuts** , my mind wanders to the commercials Garrison Keillor used to do (still does, for all I know) for **Raw Bits** on _Prairie Home Companion_. ---

I don’t like either of them partly because they get to soggy _way_ too quickly for me. ---

**Grape Nuts** is the most disgusting cereal I’ve ever eaten. **Grape Nuts _Flakes_** however is sheer heaven in a bowl. Ah, the paradox. Right now, my favorite is **Special K with Red Berries**. The freeze dried strawberries are so good I could eat a whole bowl of them without the annoying Special K getting in the way. ---

You’re all losers. **Cinnamon Life** is the one true path to cereal nirvana. (Although I do like **Frosted Mini Wheats** and **Grape Nuts** from time to time.) And **Special K with Red Berries** is unspeakably vile. Those red berries are grotesque mockeries of real strawberries. They look so similar, but taste SO awful. Blegh! ---
