What’s your favorite? And why? For the purposes of this thread, let’s lay a few ground rules: 1. The influence of drugs/alcohol is permitted 2. Let’s keep them relatively short; say, under 5 minutes in length 3. Cartoons are okay, as is a CGI film (like [Final Fantasy: Advent Children](https://www.google.com/search?q=advent+children&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=799&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=ioMuVe2OC4W6ggSB1YLACg&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAg) For me, it has to be the sequence from _The Big Lebowski_, where The Dude is under the influence of Jackie Treehorn’s White Russian. Jeff Bridges dancing around to [“I Just Dropped In (to See What Condition My Condition Was In.”](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=od_6M8cFdUA) For one thing, the song is great. Jeff Bridges has some of the best facial expressions I’ve ever seen in it. And Julianne Moore is always delicious. ---

Old school: “ **Pink Elephants on Parade** ” from _Dumbo_. Because it’s weird and surreal and funny and catchy. (And if you like that, Winnie the Pooh has a similar one with “Heffalumps and Woozles”). ---

The first time I saw _Terminator II_, in the theater, the dream sequence of the bomb detonating in Los Angeles made my jaw drop. Maybe part of it was because the Cold War was still dying down at the time, but it scared the hell out of me… as in, “this is what it would really be like.” ---

I didn’t care for the rest of the movie, but there’s a wonderfully bizarre dream sequence in **a Million ways to Die in the West**. I actually laughed when the sheep started levitating. And I have to list the hallucinogenic sequence in **Altered States** , for several reasons, including a naked Blair Brown. ---
