I always thought “Pousse Cafe” was a great name for a combination bar/whorehouse (pouse pronounced “pussy”) ---

My boyfriend’s invention, we call it the “Pool Boy”: Malibu Rum Guanabana juice tonic water grenadine lime wedge Serve it in a large margarita glass. Not too alcoholic so you can drink it all day. We originally called it “The Cabana Boy” as that was his nickname for a while, but then my friend gave me these cocktail napkins with the quote “Oh Pool Boy! I’ll have another!” and so the drink was named. ---

**Buffalo Wing** 1 1/2 ounce Buffalo Trace Bourbon 1 1/2 ounce Old Crow Bourbon 5 ounces Vernor’s Ginger Ale 5 drops Cholula hot sauce A shot of ranch dressing may be served on the side, for the timid. **Palindrome** RC & CR. That is, 5 ounces Royal Crown (cola) 3 ounces Crown Royal whiskey **Snowmobile** 2 ounces vodka (the bottle’s been kept in the freezer) 2 1/2 ounces peppermint schnapps 1 ounce Malibu coconut rum Serve in a frosted glass, drink with mittens. (Or is it kittens? I can’t remember.) ---

The guys who lived across from me in college in the 80s used to have themed drinking parties (I fondly recall the “Whiskey Sour Power Hour”). Once they had a party based around the **Toxic Waste** : Vodka Chocolate Milk I mentioned this to a friend, who replied with a similar concoction they’d heard of: **The Chernobyl** Vodka Diet Strawberry Yoo Hoo The official drink of my college comedy troupe was the **Green Stinky** : Pour a shot of Vodka into a glass Fill most of the rest of the glass with Ginger Ale Add enough Midori to match the color of a peridot gem ---

I’m surprised nobody has mentioned the **Mind Eraser**. Fill a highball glass or white wine glass with ice, then mix: 1/3 vodka 1/3 Kahlua 1/3 7-Up Stick a couple straws in, and suck 'til it’s gone. The liquids will layer and the different flavors will keep cycling back, in order. A couple of these and it will have done its job. ---

**The Village Idiot** Gin and Tonic with a splash of Dewar’s So named because the idiot bartender at an establishment name Village Bistro accidentally poured part of the Dewar’s intended for my husband’s glass into my gin and tonic. I drank it anyway and decided that it was pretty good. Of course I was drunk at the time which probably makes me the idiot. 😃 ---

I was introduced to this drink as the **PorchClimber** , but had mixed it at a friends house and was informed by her father that he had heard it called a **Strip and Go Naked**. This recipe makes a pitcher of summertime goodness…until the next morning. 1 can frozen pink lemonade 1 can vodka (although I think gin might be better) 1 can water 2 bottles of beer Gently stir the above in a pitcher and enjoy immediately (the mix won’t save overnight). _ **Caution** _ - This stuff sneaks up on you. ---

I can’t seem to find a recipe for it, but Shakespeare’s Pub & Billiards in Denver serves a drink called the Fuck Me Silly. I can’t remember much of it (it was towards the end of the evening), but I know there was pineapple juice in it, and it was very tasty.
