You guys wanna hear a track by a chick which absolutely rocks? I mean, as in it just shakes your fucking speakers and kicks ass into the next century? Well take a listen to this. It’s by an Aussie chick who most of you Americans won’t have heard of, but this bird jas got more oomph than a passing 10 mile wide asteroid. Her name is Sarah McLeod and she’s the guitarist/songwriter/lead singer for a band called “SuperJesus”. Man, this song has got some chunk to it. Female guitarists - well, this list has the same issues as the Rolling Stone list - what criteria? what types of music? etc… In terms of any style - **Emily Remler** was a highly-regarded jazz guitarist before she took her own life. Classical players like **Sharon Isbin** are well thought of. As previously mentioned, **Jennifer Batten** can shred and play power pop, and **Sheryl Crow** has musical chops for days… ---
