I’m not sure if anybody wondered or cared about the lines I didn’t identify, but just in case… 1. “Well, gosh…” was the evil Mayor Wilkins, just before he was blown up, in the season finale of _ **Buffy the Vampire Slayer.** _ 2. “I know now why you cry, but it’s something I can never do. Goodbye.” was Arnold, in _ **Terminator 2.** _ 3. “Clever girl…” was gamekeeper Muldoon in \*\*\*Jurassic Park \*\*\*(just as he realized the velociraptor had tricked him and lured him into a trap) 4. “It’s been a funny sort of day, hasn’t it?” was Shaun’s mum Barbara, just before she died and turned into a zombie in _ **Shaun of the Dead.** _ 5. Finally, another one from _ **Tombstone** _. Morgan Earp’s last words were, “Remember what I said? About seeing a light when you die? It ain’t true. I can’t see a damn thing.” ---

A VERY simple but effective last line: In the last scene of \*\*\*The Departed, \*\*\* Matt Damon thinks he’s gotten away scot-free for all his crimes. But as he enters his apartment, he sees Donnie Wahlberg waiting for him with a gun. Damon realizes he’s going to die, and that he has it coming. He just says, “Okay,” and then takes a bullet. ---
