One piece of advice I can give everyone is to never see the English remake Spike Lee attempted. I turned it off part way through and I don’t quite movies very often. Heck, I finished Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl. ---

Agree. The original Oldboy is a 10, and Lee’s version is like a 0. Similarly, the English remake of Insomnia with Al Pacino is pretty bad (not as bad as Lee’s Oldboy), but it misses a crucial part in the ending that made me think “why???”. Watch the original.
