Back when we used to have a Z-Rock station, they used to play a song every Friday called **Tap the Keg**. I have no idea who it was by but it wasalways appropriate.

“Five O’Clock World” was by the Vogues.
I’d go with Dave Edmunds’ “Here Comes The Weekend”, The Easybeats’ “Friday On My Mind” or NRBQ’s “It’s A Wild Weekend.”

I used to live in San Fran. Every Friday (or maybe every day at 5) they played a reggae song called “Smoke Two Joints.” Dunno the artist, but it was a great choice.
My fave, though, is “Highway to Hell” by AC/DC. Crank that bitch up to 10 on the drive home…

A couple favorites of mine for the drive home:
“Killing in the Name” - _Rage Against the Machine_. Especially the “||: Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me! :||” part.
There’s a Fatboy Slim song I also like to play (I never knew the song names, just made a compilation CD) that has the wonderful Friday lyric “I never worked a day in my life. I just laid back and let the big beat lead me.”
