A song written by Bob Dylan specifically for this scene. Bob wrote the entire sound track and had a small part in the movie.I do not know why this movie isn’t more popular, had a great cast. In _The Rings of Power,_ Durin III armors up and leaps with his sword right into the face of the Balrog. All matter-of-factly. He knew he was doomed but doggone if that would stop him going into single combat. It’s the bleak Norse mentality of “We’re doomed, so the only thing to do is go out fighting” that Tolkien knew so well. He culture-coded the Dwarves as Norse. ---
