# Best Law & Order Guest Stars

A favorite of mine (beyong several already mentioned) is Robert Vaughn as Carl Anderton, charming politico and closet paranoid schitzophrenic. That scene at the end of his first appearence when he turns on Adam is truly chilling.

Was that the one where his grandson is bipolar and the grandfather refuses to admit it, or let the kid plead not guilty by reason of mental defect? If so, that was on TNT just the other day.

I think Vaughn’s character, as well as the grandson, were supposed to be bipolar, not schizophrenic.

That is correct. TNT showed that episode this week.
