Obviously, I wouldn’t have started the thread if I didn’t already know the answer, but I thought I’d share it with those of you who might not have gained enlightenment: **Mad Dogs and Englishmen** starring Joe Cocker – but with an amazing band put together by Leon Russell and Chris Stainton, featuring the rhythm section that would move on to Derek and the Dominoes. You’ve got seriously kick-ass rock ‘n’ roll, a blues medley that would shut Kelly Ripa up for a minute, and a beautiful (yes, beautiful) duet by Joe Cocker and Leon Russell of “Girl from the North Country.” They don’t remember all the words? So what. Most of all, you’ve got the best dance song ever, “Feelin’ Alright.” You may close the thread now. ---

I’m not a big fan of Nirvana but their unplugged [live] album has some gems on it and I would bet that it is among the top selling live albums of all time. ---

I’m a big fan of the Canadian band **Moxy Fruvous’s** _Live Noise_. It’s a combination of new stuff, old stuff, redone old stuff, and funny talk-bits inbetween songs. The swearing Oscar the Grouch impression is beautiful! ---
