# Best Lovecraft tribute story/book you've read?

Presumably

Sebastian Moran, Moriarty’s lieutenant from the canon who went gunning for Holmes after his return. (He was Colonel Moran in canon, apparently this version didn’t advance quite that far.)

Well, of course not;his injury in Afghanistan surely cut his career short.

If it hasn’t been mentioned already, Jerusalem’s Lot by Stephen King.

He did another Lovecraft tribute short story, but modernized. I think it’s called Crouch End.

His new one, _Revival_, has some Lovecraftian roots as well.
