In the Dire Straits song “Money For Nothing,” I mis-hear a lne as something like “You’ve got your \ microwave oven, custom kitchen, etc, etc.” I’ve never taken the time to look up the correct lyric. Sir ---

A Don Henly song lyric “their the very things we kill, I guess”. My GF at the time thought it said “their the furry things we kill”. Admittedly, she was a little strange. ---

Not so much a song lyric as an ad lyric, but there’s this bike store called “CyclePath”, and one of their radio ads featured people singing the store name several times. I never failed to hear them singing “psychopath”. ---

Everybody I know thinks that the Manfred Mann song “Blinded By the Light” has a line that says “revved up like a douche, another runner in the night” but it’s really “douce.” Just thought I’d share. ---
